What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website can save in your browser, to remember you or track what you do. Similar tools, such as browser storage and tracking pixels, do the same job.
What this website does
This website doesn't use cookies to track you. It has no analytics, no advertising, and no social media buttons that track you. The fonts, images and videos all come from our own server, not from other companies.
While the new website is in preview, entering the team password sets one strictly necessary cookie, called va_gate. It only remembers that you've entered the password, so you aren't asked again for 30 days. It doesn't track you, and it goes when the preview ends. Strictly necessary cookies like this don't need your permission.
The site also remembers, in your browser and only until you close it, whether it has already shown you the AI readiness check, so it doesn't pop up on every page. Nothing is sent to us or anyone else.
That's why you won't see a cookie banner here.
Links to other websites
Some pages link to other websites, such as LinkedIn, government grant pages and the sources behind our articles. Those sites have their own cookie policies, which apply once you visit them.
If this changes
If we ever add analytics or anything else that uses cookies, we'll update this page first and ask for your permission before setting any cookie that isn't strictly needed.
